BEIJING - Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia Pacific, announces the completion of the management lineup in mainland China.
With six offices across China, Wunderman China Group has demonstrated an outstanding growth for both Wunderman and AGENDA over the last five years and unveils a new organization for China.
Completing its senior leadership in Beijing, Wunderman announces the appointment of
K2 Kung(龚钟泰)(pictured) to oversee the Beijing offices, in addition to his current role as managing director of the Wunderman and AGENDA operations in Guangzhou.
K2 Kung has been with AGENDA and Wunderman for 12 years, holding different roles and positions in Taiwan and China.
Stephane Faggianelli commented, “Our expansion in China has been outstanding and we keep beefing up our senior teams to manage our growth. K2 Kung has built a strong offering in Guangzhou over the last 18 months. Therefore, I am very pleased to extend his role and have him also taking charge of Beijing to drive our operation to the next level”.
Recent senior appointments include Sunny Hermano as general manager of AGENDA Shanghai, and Chris Jones as first executive creative director for China.
In addition, Scott Pollack joins as senior strategy director for China. This newly created role aims to drive innovation and enhance strategic thinking and solutions across offices in China. With about twenty years of experience, including 7 years on the ground in China, Scott Pollack comes to Wunderman with a strong strategic background from several global strategy consulting firms.
Clement Yip, managing director of Wunderman and AGENDA China, has decided to leave the group to take some time off and uncover new ventures in the future. His role has been transitioned to Steve Hsia, who is overseeing Wunderman and AGENDA Greater China offices and who relocated to Shanghai end of 2011.
“Clement Yip has been a great performer and we are very grateful for his achievements at AGENDA and Wunderman over the years, we wish him well for the future. With the new organization in place, we have now completed our senior management lineup in China and Greater China and are ready to expand even more aggressively” said Steve Hsia.
Recent new business wins in China, include the consolidation of Jaguar Land Rover aftersales business with Wunderman Shanghai.
